The only reason that we know about Avishai Raviv is that Yigal Amir had a relationship with this agent provacateur. Until the time of the assassination Raviv was an unknown - except to the GSS (Israel's Secret Service) and its head, Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Emerging information indicates that both Amir and Raviv were merely small bit players with more important figures in the shadows. The real story is yet to surface. But, the expos of the Shamgar Report's secret annex reveals that Yitzhak Rabin bore ministerial responsibility for the "incitement" leading to his own assassination.

Since there is no longer any doubt that the GSS, with PM Rabin's knowledge, was running Raviv as an agent provacateur, presumably that are numerous other agents also assigned to penetrate and provoke the so-called extreme Right. This operation was ordered under Rabin and Peres, reflecting the views of a Leftist Labor government. The only possible reason for setting up such a macabre operation was to destroy any efforts by the Right to halt the failing agreement called Oslo.

Raviv is being cast as an out-of-control agent, operating on his own, who conducted a personal campaign to show the political Right were radical, but the facts speak otherwise. If the GSS, under the direct command of Prime Minister Rabin was playing only one man (Raviv), the effort would have been marginal at best. Clearly, if the Right was to be cast in the role of spoiler, Rabin and the GSS would need many more agents provocateurs who are doubtlessly still operating under deep cover.

The Shamgar Commission explicitly avoided questioning the GSS about other agents tasked to discredit the Right. Then there are the political considerations. With dropping polls showing him as a no-win liability for the coming elections, who in the Labor Party would want Rabin out? >From Rabin's point of view a dramatic but unsuccessful assassination attempt on his life would increase his lagging position in the polls. This would focus all the nation with him and against the danger he faced from a supposedly out-of-control Right, bringing back the image of the hero defying danger. It was a political gamble but not too surprising, given past incidents in Israeli politics.

Then there would be another view and other interests. Who would like to see a staged fake assassination attempt turn real? Who would benefit politically? Obviously, those involved at the highest levels of the GSS and the Labor Party should have been questioned. Or were they supposed to get away with murder?

Assuredly, the GSS would never, on its own, agree to assassinate the Prime Minister. But, if its bosses were convinced by the Labor politicians that Rabin was moving toward a level of perceived incompetence as Oslo was failing and would thereby lose the election, they could have considered removing Rabin - "For the Good of the Nation".

Remember the political Left were already engaged in a covert black operation, to insure that no politically Right candidate would become Prime Minister. Remember there was a major concurrent operation underway by President Clinton and the State Department to place Shimon Peres in office if they could not have Rabin. Would the sacrifice of one man stand in the way of a US foreign policy dedicated to Oslo and keeping Arab oil nations placated by a diminished Israel?

Remember that most of the Arab nations, including especially the PLO backed by the US were relying on the Labor Party to be re-elected and complete all the concessions. For all of them It was vital to have Rabin in the PM's office and, if not him, then Shimon Peres, because both were dedicated to a total withdrawal from the territories, the Golan Heights and significant parts of Jerusalem.

Assassination of a failing leader in order to keep control of the levers of power is not new nor surprising. Keeping power is not merely a goal, it is the only goal. Ultra-Leftists like Yossi Sarid who sat on the Knesset Intelligence Committee pressured Shamgar NOT to release the true and complete findings of the Shamgar Commission in real time. What then were these pacifists hiding? Why did the Shamgar Commission go along?

Regretably, Shamgar didn't protest his being used for his reputation and credibility as a mask for who may have really precipitated the assassination of Rabin. To protect his reputation as an honest judge, he must either suppress his full report or lie. It seems (or it was made to seem) as if Yigal Amir was provoked by Raviv into being the instrument of what was supposed to be a fake assassination with blank bullets. Putting live rounds in his gun which he thought held only blanks was really not too difficult. More and more information is oozing out about a shooting that may actually have been elaborately staged. This now must be re-investigated by a panel who will not shield any government officials and will not ignore any of the facts for "the Good of the Nation".

I wouldn't be surprised to see Yigal Amir killed in prison or Raviv disappear with no trace or body to be found. Both became a liability for those who operated at the highest levels of government and the GSS. There are thousands of unanswered questions and here are a few:

Are dozens of Ravivs tasked to be agent provocateurs roaming Israel, creating havoc to smear the Right?

What other staged incidents have they already caused in the operation to cast the Right as radicals?

Why was only the Right targeted when the Left was also known for its own radicals?
Was the GSS the only intelligence agency tasked to stain the Right or were other agencies also involved?

Were there other military groups who were assigned by the Rabin/Peres Prime Ministry to conduct their own operations either within the army or against civilians? (Many recall the beatings of elderly and even children when they protested Rabin-Peres-Beilin policies.) We also recall the pre-election ads by military officers who had a Leftist orientation and who supported Labor.

Moshe Feiglin and Shmuel Sackett were convicted "Sedition" because they were effective leaders in mobilizing the public to depose Rabin and Peres in order to protest Oslo. This was intended to remove the protest leaders in anticipation of a withdrawal on all fronts in what would be called the "Final Settlement".

We observed the courts and its judiciary conduct itself under the Rabin/Peres government in a way that indicated political bias against the political Right. Here, too, the trail leads back to a Labor government determined to carry out Oslo no matter what. It would appear that collusion was orchestrated on a massive scale by a Labor government linked to foreign governments who paid for obedience. The US is believed to have funneled considerable amounts of money into the Labor Party to insure that it would win the elections and continue Oslo no matter what its failings. Rabin was dropping in popularity as the nation reeled from PLO killings. Oslo was growing less popular by the day and Netanyahu's star was rising steadily. The US desperately needed Labor to continue Oslo no matter what the cost. Perhaps Rabin was selected to pay that price because Israel's capitulation under the terms of Oslo was more important than the life of one man.

This is just in from the Israeli newspaper Hatzofeh: Attorney General Elyakim Rubenstein has decided NOT to re-open criminal files against Avishai Raviv that were closed while he was a GSS agent. Let us remember that Rubenstein himself has a background worth noting. When he was employed under Rabin and Peres, he was reportedly the man in the Washington Embassy who turned away Jonathan and Anne Pollard.

As PM Netanyahu's Attorney General, he issued the indictment against Moshe Feiglin and Shmuel Sackett asking for a 10 year sentence on the spurious charge of Sedition.

Clearly, the coverup of Avishai Raviv's activities and his association with various Israeli government administrations and high level party officials on both sides goes on. To protect whom?

Why Yitzhak Rabin was murdered by the Left

Yitzhak Rabin didn't want to go further with leftist plans to undermine Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem (where he was born), was against an accursed state of "Palestine," started attending private Bible studies (heresy to the secular swine!), and was a sacrifice to the occultic German-Jesuit masters, knowing they could abuse his corpse to further their "peace" plans by blaming the opposition - which is what they were doing, until folks caught on to their big lie and it's backfired on them.

Questions Remain; 28% of Israelis Say Amir Didn't Kill Rabin

(IsraelNN.com) A poll published by Maariv, Israel's second largest daily, this week shows that 26% of the Israeli public supports allowing Yigal Amir, who was convicted of the 1995 murder of Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin, to leave prison in 2015.

Even more striking is the finding that 14% of Israelis - and 38% of the religious public - believe that Amir should be immediately pardoned.

On the other hand, 59% of the public, and 32% of the religious public, believe Amir should never be released from prison.

Release for the Brit?
Nearly a third of the populace feels Amir should be allowed out for a few hours when his future baby son is expected to undergo his brit milah, ritual circumcision in approximately one month.

MK Yaakov Cohen of the hareidi-religious United Torah Judaism party said he understands why so many people would like to see Amir out of prison: "True, he did something very grave, but if hundreds of murderous terrorists can be released, then we have to rethink it. If everything is open, then everything is open."

Later, after being accused of favoring a pardon for Yigal Amir, MK Cohen clarified, "I, personally, am against releasing Yigal Amir. I meant that it is understandable why some would think otherwise. Whoever murders another Jew, and especially a Prime Minister, must remain in prison until his last day."

Did Amir Kill Rabin?
The question of whether it was Amir who murdered Rabin is still a matter of national debate. Nearly half of the religious public (46%), and well over a quarter (28%) of the public at large, believe that Amir was not the culprit.

Though the Shamgar Commission found that Amir, working alone, was the murderer, many questions have been raised against the official version of the killing. These include:

• Why did the lone video of the assassination, the Kempler video, focus in on Amir for so many minutes prior to the killing?

• Why was Amir allowed to stand, unguarded and by himself, in the area that was supposed to be sterile, as documented in the Kempler video?
• Why, in the Kempler video frame released by the government, does Amir's arm appear to be several feet long? And why is his left arm seen shooting, when he is right-handed?

• How is it that an eye-witness to the event, Miriam Oren, was filmed at the site telling reporters emphatically and repeatedly, "I saw that Rabin was not hurt"?
• How did Rabin's armored car back door close (7:18 min. into the Kempler video) as the car prepared to speed away, with Rabin inside, if no one else was in the back seat, as the car occupants later testified?
• Why was Rabin's wife, the late Leah Rabin, told at first that the entire incident was just an exercise and a fake? Why was she told in advance not to travel with her husband? [source: Ha'olam Ha'ishah magazine, Issue 193, November, 1999, page 21]
• Why was the call, "Blanks, blanks!" heard when the shots rang out? Why did the Shamgar Commission not determine who shouted this?
• Why was the assassin not killed immediately?

The last three questions have been asked publicly by Rabin's daughter, former MK Dalia Rabin-Pilosoph. Rabin's son Yuval has also raised doubts about the official version, even demanding the re-opening of the investigation into the murder. Promulgators of the "conspiracy" theories - which are now believed by no less than 28% of the Israeli public, the Maariv poll shows - have also raised the following points:

• Why did then-Health Minister Dr. Ephraim Sneh say on television that night [45 seconds into video below] that Rabin had been wounded by bullets to the chest, stomach, and spinal cord, when in fact the video shows that Amir fired from the back? [Click here if you cannot see Sneh video below]

• Why did the Director of Ichilov Hospital Dr. Gabi Barabash, who was in the operating room when Rabin was treated for his wounds, say on national TV [55 seconds into video below] that Rabin suffered from a wound to his chest, when Amir was seen firing from behind? Rabin assassination researcher David Rutstein notes the contradictions in the number of bullet wounds, where Barabash says only two wounds - one to the chest and one to the spleen - while Sneh counts three wounds, including one in the back. Rutstein says the third bullet wound mentioned by Sneh "was just put there after Rabin was already dead in order to match all the eyewitness accounts which stated that Yigal Amir shot Rabin in the back." Rutstein emphasizes that after their initial, live screenings, the Sneh and Barabash videos were never again aired on government-controlled media, despite their historic significance.

• Why did the three doctors who operated on Rabin submit, in their handwritten medical report [see picture below], that Rabin suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, when Amir was seen firing at Rabin only from behind?

• Why did security guard Yoram Rubin testify before the Shamgar Commission that Rabin was shot at 9:50 PM, when in fact Yigal Amir was arrested at 9:30 PM?

• Why did Rabin's driver, Menachem Damti, testify before the Commission and at Amir's trial that he drove to Ichilov Hospital in less than two minutes, when the ride actually took over 20 minutes? Could this question be connected to the previous one?

• Why did Rabin's top aide Eitan Haber destroy evidence? He told the Commission that he took Rabin's possessions from Ichilov Hospital, and later told the Jerusalem newspaper Kol Ha'ir that on the same night he cleaned out Rabin's filing cabinets at the Prime Minister's office.

• Why did official State Pathologist Dr. Yehuda Hiss remove the mention of a chest and spine wound from the autopsy report, when in fact all the other doctors there, including Gutman, Sneh and Barabash, reported that Rabin died of a shattered spine with bullet entry through the chest?

• Why did the chief judge at Yigal Amir's trial, Edmond Levy, dismiss the testimony of police forensics expert Inspector Baruch Gladstein, who proved categorically that one gun shot was fired into Rabin at point-blank range - about a half-meter closer than Amir ever got to Rabin?

The late Adir Zik, Arutz-7's popular broadcaster who waged a long struggle to uncover the truth behind the Rabin assassination and the campaign of incitement against the nationalist campaign that followed it, often said that his main objection to the official version was the behavior of the guards. He said that from his conversations with members of the VIP bodyguard unit, he knew they were trained to shoot immediately if a gun is drawn in the immediate vicinity of the VIP.

"VIP bodyguards told me," said Zik, "that if, through some foul-up, an assassin were to fire one shot, he would be filled with bullets long before firing a second. How is it possible that Amir was able to get off not only two, but three shots, without being felled by the guards?" He concluded that they had been instructed previously not to shoot - and that this could only be if it was coordinated in advance that the "assassin" would in fact be firing only blanks.

Avishai Raviv has never been charged with incitement or as an accessory to murder of Yitzhak Rabin and has disappeared from sight, undoubtedly just following orders.

I was NEVER involved with the extremist Jewish group "Eyal" but had met Avishai Raviv during a Temple Mount Faithful demonstration in Jerusalem when he helped me to protect Gershon during Tisha B'Av when the police carried Gershon away from the Mugrabi Gate and dropped him and he hit his head and went unconscious and the throng practically trampled him except for me trying to cover him and shouting at the people to be careful that Gershon was on the ground - and I'm pretty sure it was Avishai who helped me keep the people from stepping on him.

Howard Grief, an attorney and member of the Temple Mount Faithful, witnessed it all and wrote The Jerusalem Post about it (we both had a letter published the same day: Howard's letter was called "Police Brutality" and mine was called "Discrimination" - The Jerusalem Post, Friday, Aug. 25, 1995).

Before that incident I had met Avishai Raviv in the office of the Temple Mount Faithful when he and someone else came there. He had invited Moshe Weisfish (Gershon Salomon's cousin) and I to his apartment in Hebron, but it was later explained to me that Avishai was a "shtinker" (informer) and that the police wanted to falsely associate the Temple Mount Faithful with such people and how he had even taken it upon himself once in Tel Aviv to have an office on campus with "Temple Mount Faithful" on the door or something like that, which Gershon immediately forbade him upon knowledge of it as he had no authority to do it and did NOT represent the Temple Mount Faithful in any manner, shape or form.

This is what I remember of the agent provocateur Avishai Raviv and his fake group "Eyal."

I might add though that after the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, some female (British?) reporter (probably my age) who knew Nick Day of The Traveller, kept trying to get Avishai's phone number or have me contact him (since she heard I had met him) until I told her I wanted nothing to do with him. She was unrelenting until Nick Day told her to back off. I guess she was his friend or acquaintance.
